DISHA 2023 is the culmination of years of preparation, passion, and ambition for SAMATA to celebrate a festival that features both athletic and artistic pursuits. These go beyond anything we could have imagined. The team envisions making it an absolute trailblazer of an event! The serenity of Vizag beaches and the essence of SAMATA campus life can be captured with the word "DISHA". "Disha" is a term that originates from Sanskrit, an ancient Indo-European language. In Sanskrit, "Disha" (दिशा) means "direction" or "compass point.  It is commonly used as a given name, especially in India.  In a broader sense, the term can symbolize guidance, purpose, or the path one takes in life. As with many names, the specific meaning or significance may vary based on cultural, linguistic, or personal interpretations.
